She recently was the Deputy Chair of the Assembly and Executive Review Committee and sat on the Justice Committee. The former community and voluntary worker has been a member of Sinn Fein since 1997 and was chair of Strabane District Council. She is the party's spokesperson on disability and is a member of her local GAA club, Strabane Sigersons.

Roger Lomas is a retired businessman who has worked in public services, IT and retail sectors. He is a governor of Integrated College Dungannon. A stalker and angler who describes himself as a "passionate defender" of hunting, there was controversy when he was pictured on Facebook with a dead eland which he shot in Africa. Mr Lomas is campaigning for investment in infrastructure and education.

A councillor on Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Sorcha McAnespy resigned from Sinn Fein following an internal dispute. An engineer and mother of three, she was first elected to the former Omagh District Council in 2011 and served as vice-chair.

Environmental activist Ciaran McClean has been at the forefront of opposition to gold mining in the Sperrins and is also involved in the Alternative A5 Alliance which has opposed the route of the A5 dual carriageway. The veteran campaigner has contested previous elections as a socialist candidate. Originally from Beragh, he lives in Brackey and is the son of civil rights activist Paddy Joe McClean.

Daniel McCrossan from Victoria Bridge near Strabane was co-opted to the Assembly in January 2016 to replace Joe Byrne for whom he previously worked as a constituency assistant. He was re-elected as MLA for West Tyrone in May last year. He is the SDLP Infrastructure Spokesperson and was recently deputy chair of the PAC. A Policing Board member, he studied law at Liverpool John Moores University.

An MLA since 1998, Barry McElduff was previously appointed Assembly Private Secretary to the Culture Minister and recently sat on the Procedures Committee. He's a member of Sinn Fein's Ard Comhairle and a former chair of Omagh District Council. Mr McElduff played gaelic football at senior level for Carrickmore and at minor level for Tyrone and has a keen interest in the Irish language. He wrote a book entitled ‘Keep ‘Er Lit' about his experiences of republicanism, GAA and community activism.

Devout Christian and pro-life campaigner Susan-Anne White, from Trillick, wants to make homosexuality and adultery illegal, and is strongly opposed to feminism and rock music. She stood in the council elections in 2014, the 2015 Westminster Election and Assembly Election last year.
