She is a Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator and previously served as Youth President for Saint Vincent de Paul for five years. She is also an Irish medium teacher and Irish language officer at her local GAA club.

DUP stalwart Gregory Campbell has been the MP for East Londonderry since 2001, elected on six successive occasions. Previously, he was a councillor for 30 years, starting in 1981. He was also elected to the 1982 Assembly and the Northern Ireland Forum for Political Dialogue in 1996. He was first elected as a member of the Northern Ireland Assembly in 1998 representing the East Londonderry constituency and served as Regional Development Minister in 2000-2001. He also served as the Culture, Arts and Leisure Minister in 2008-2009. He remained a member of the Assembly until he stepped down at the 2016 election.

Cara Hunter was elected as a councillor for the first time in 2019, becoming deputy mayor of Derry City and Strabane Council. She stood in the 2019 General Election, but failed to win a seat before she was co-opted to the Northern Ireland Assembly upon the death of John Dallat in 2020. She was then re-elected to the Assembly in 2022. In 2021, Ms Hunter revealed that she had been diagnosed with a brain tumour which she described as "life-altering" rather than "life-threatening".

Vice-chairman of the TUV, Allister Kyle was last year elected as a Causeway Coast and Glens councillor on the 10th count in the Causeway DEA. He has served on the board of directors of Coleraine Football Club since January 2014 and runs his own electrical business. He has held a variety of offices in the Loyal Orders and was formerly a member of Dunseverick and Dunloy accordion bands.

She leads a global Commercial Operations, Sales and Delivery Enablement team at a life sciences company. She was previously elected as a local parish councillor in England and ran as a local council candidate in 2020.

Richard Stewart was elected to Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council in 2023, representing the Causeway area. He was recently on a fun fair ride with Alliance Party leader Naomi Long as they campaigned in Portrush.
