Carla Lockhart is defending the seat she won in the 2019 General Election, succeeding the retiring David Simpson. She began her political career with election to Craigavon Borough Council in 2007 before becoming Mayor in 2012. Ms Lockhart was successfully elected as an MLA in 2016 and stepped down upon winning her seat at Westminster.

Catherine Nelson was previously an MLA for Upper Bann having been elected in 2016. However, she announced she would not seek re-election the following year and would instead return to her career as a schoolteacher. In 2018, she was co-opted as a councillor onto Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council. Ms Nelson topped the poll to defend that seat in the Craigavon DEA in 2019 and was also re-elected to council last year.

Malachy Quinn has been successfully elected to Mid Ulster District Council three times, holding his seat in the Torrent DEA since 2014 and topping the poll in 2019. He has previously spoken out to raise awareness for Kawasaki disease, a rare condition which his young daughter has now recovered from.

Eoin Tennyson was elected to Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council in 2019 aged 21. Later that year, he contested the Upper Bann seat in the General Election and placed third. In 2022, Mr Tennyson was elected as an MLA, becoming the youngest member of the Assembly at the age of 23. He sits on the Finance Committee and is a member of the Policing Board.
