Molecular biologist Caoimhe Archibald grew up in Coleraine and was educated at Loreto College and Queen's University. She works in applied horticulture research. Ms Archibald has been involved in the past three election campaigns and supports constituency work in the Coleraine Borough Council area.

Away from politics, she's a keen runner and swimmer and has completed two marathons, fundraising for mental health and hospice charities, and also been a member of her local GAA club for over 15 years. A strong advocate of Irish language, she's a member of Conradh na Gaeilge.

Jordan Armstrong is an ex-serviceman who served with the 1st Battalion the Royal Irish Regiment. He has frontline experience in Afghanistan and became active in politics when he left the army and found it very difficult to get a full time job in the north west. He now works on a dairy farm.

Yvonne Boyle is a former mental health social worker and health commissioner. A former deputy mayor of Coleraine, she is currently vice chair of the Alliance Party’s Women’s Network. She has a keen interest in the arts, having written and performed her own poetry and is a member of the Riverside Theatre Committee. Ms Boyle is involved in charity work as chair of the Causeway Borough of Sanctuary and a member of Zomba Action Project Committee.

Maurice Bradley is a production manager for a local newspaper where he has been employed since 1969. He was involved with the formation of Coleraine FC Academy. He played football for over 40 years and has been a coach-manager and legislator. He sits on the Coleraine and District League Management Committee, the North-West Football Association and the Irish Football Association.

Aaron Callan from Limavady is a member of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council. He is a director of Causeway Coast and Glens Local Action Group, a local advisory board member of the Honourable the Irish Society and is a long-serving member of Bellarena Orange Lodge where he is deputy master. He has experience in both the private and public sectors.

David Harding was born in Carlisle, raised in south west Scotland and moved to Coleraine in 1984. A qualified vet specialising in farm animals, he is involved with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, dealing with complaints against vets across the UK. He has been active in politics for the last 16 years and was a councillor on Coleraine Borough Council, serving as mayor in 2013/14. He was elected to the new Causeway Coast and Glens Council on its foundation and is the council's mental health champion.

William McCandless represents the Coleraine area on Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council. A former DUP member, he joined the UUP in 2012. He has worked in industrial engineering, purchasing and logistics management and is interested in job creation and business growth. He has been a member of a local school’s board of governors and had involvement with a community association in Coleraine.

Adrian McQuillan was first elected as a councillor on Coleraine Borough Council in 2001 and was chairperson of the District Policing Partnership on two occasions. He was elected to the Assembly in 2007 and 2011 and was recently a member of the Committee for Finance and Personnel and the Public Accounts Committee.

First elected to Limavady Borough Council in 2001, Gerry Mullan is a former mayor. He sits on a number of local enterprise organisations, including Causeway Coast Arts Committee, Causeway Coast Tourism Committee, Limavady Community Development Initiative, Police and Community Safety Partnership and Roe Valley Chamber of Trade and Commerce. The father of eight and is a A plasterer by trade and a practising potter.

Cathal OhOisin has been a Sinn Féin MLA since 2011 and is the party spokesperson in the Assembly on culture, arts and leisure. He was Assembly Private Secretary to the Minister for Agriculture, as well as Chair and vice-chair of the All Party Groups on the community and voluntary sector, and cancer. He was previously a councillor in Limavady Borough Council, serving as party group leader and mayor. Outside of political life he has been the long serving secretary and current vice-chair of the Kevin Lynch Hurling Club.

Claire Sugden is an independent unionist politician. She was co-opted to the Assembly to replace David McClarty following his death in April 2014. She worked for Mr McClarty as his assistant and managed his election campaign in 2011. She was also co-opted to Coleraine Borough Council when he resigned his seat. Ms Sugden has a Masters in Irish politics.

Russell Watton topped the poll in Coleraine in the 2014 council election after previously standing unsuccessfully as an independent unionist. He is a member of the Orange Order and Apprentice Boys of Derry.
